The Problem

Attending an event shouldn't mean juggling three different apps. Guests are stuck with unreadable PDF programmes, separate ticketing apps, and no easy way to network — all while planners manage tools that don't talk to each other.

The question that started it all: how might we help planners craft an enjoyable event experience for guests in a single app?

Research — Mapped 5 existing competitors (Eventbrite, Whova, Swapcard, Webmobi, Gevme). None combined ticketing, networking, and information in one guest-focused experience.

User personas — Defined two users: Rachel (arts attendee frustrated by unreadable digital programmes) and Shane (entrepreneur tired of downloading a new app for every conference).

Design system — Built brand identity from scratch: logo, Experio Red colour palette, and Lexend typeface — chosen specifically for its readability across all users.

The Process

The Solution

Rather than building another event utility, Experio was designed around the guest's journey — from discovery to post-event networking — with a fully brandable layer for organisers on top.

The Outcome

Complete end-to-end design and interactive Figma prototype. Concept stage — not yet built.
