Engagement & Commercial Terms

  • You can submit requests as they come up — we'll work through them in order, two at a time, so nothing gets lost in the shuffle. Each request is one deliverable, completed and approved before the next begins.

  • One request equals one design deliverable — a poster, a social media graphic, or a digital banner. Multi-format adaptations, large campaigns or complex layouts may be treated as separate requests or scoped individually.

  • Up to two requests can be in progress at any time. The next queued request begins once a current one is completed and approved.

  • Standard turnaround is 1 to 2 business days per request. More complex work may require additional time.

  • Yes — and for retainer clients, revisions are unlimited. Treat us like your in-house design team; we'll keep refining until it's right. Changes that significantly expand the original brief or shift direction entirely may be scoped as a new request.

  • Your request queue carries over month to month — there's nothing to "use up." We work through requests in the order they're submitted, and any queued work continues into the next cycle.

  • Long-form publications, booklets, annual reports and multi-page documents fall outside retainer scope and are quoted separately.

  • Project-based work is scoped and quoted individually, with pricing and timelines agreed before work begins.

  • Retainer payments are due before the start of each billing cycle. For project-based work, a 50% deposit is required upfront, with the remaining 50% due within 30 days of final delivery and approval.

  • Start dates depend on current capacity, which we'll confirm before the engagement begins.

  • Virran Labs focuses on creative execution within an established brand system — we don't offer brand identity development or full rebranding services. If your organisation needs brand strategy or identity work, we recommend engaging a specialist branding consultancy first.
