Engagement & Commercial Terms

  • Clients may submit up to 20 design requests per month, with up to 2 active at any time. Requests are completed within the defined turnaround timeframe and delivered through a structured workflow.

    Each request is treated as a single design deliverable. Once a request is completed or approved, the next queued request begins.

    This structure ensures consistent output, clear prioritisation and predictable timelines throughout the engagement.

  • One request equals one design deliverable. For example, a poster, one social media graphic or one digital banner. Multi-format adaptations, large campaigns or complex layouts may be treated as separate requests or scoped separately.

  • Up to two requests can be in progress at the same time. Additional requests can be queued once the current requests have been fulfiled and approved.

  • Standard turnaround is 1 to 3 business days per request, depending on complexity. Larger or more complex work may require additional time.

  • Yes. Revisions are included within reasonable scope for each request. Changes that significantly alter the original direction or expand the scope may require additional scoping.

  • No. Unused requests do not carry forward to the next month.

  • Long-form publications, booklets, annual reports and multi-page documents are not included. These are quoted separately.

  • Project-based work is quoted individually. Scope, timeline and pricing are agreed before work begins.

  • Retainer payments are due before the start of each billing cycle. Project-based payments follow the terms stated in the quotation.

    For individual projects, a 50% deposit is required before starting, and the remaining 50% within 30 days after the final invoice is sent, upon approval and completion of the final artwork.

  • Start dates depend on current capacity. Availability will be confirmed before engagement.

  • Virran Labs does not provide brand identity development or full rebranding services.

    Our focus is on ongoing creative execution and marketing support within an established brand system.

    If your organisation requires brand strategy, identity development or a full rebrand, we recommend engaging a specialist branding consultancy prior to retainer support.
